Two logic puzzles

Here are two logic puzzles for the Bundublog.com community – anybody think they know the answers?

1. A man was critically wounded during a vicious fight in 1958, he died and was buried in 1957.  How is this possible?

2. Candice has six pairs of black gloves and six pairs of brown gloves in her drawer. In complete darkness, how many gloves must she take from the drawer in order to be sure to get a pair that match?
